BRETT D. SHIVELY

Highlights of Brett’s professional experience include developing, restructuring, and building successful sales organizations in multiple industries. These include Training and Licensing, Learning and Development, Higher Education, Retail, Politics, Insurance and Financial Services, many of which are highly regulated. These experiences include having worked for a Private Equity owned company, managed up to a $100 million (+) revenue business unit, direct reports up to Vice President and Senior Director levels, home office support staff, central services, marketing, call center and National and Local field sales. Brett has managed up to a $16 million annual budget, which included 200 (+) geographically dispersed staff and performed with as high as 80% margins and performance to measures at up to triple digit percentage growth. Corporate, Government and Military sectors, at the national and local levels, are all arenas Brett has served. Having served on Executive Leadership Teams, reported directly to the President and CEO and having attended and presented to Boards of Directors and Private Equity ownership, Brett has a keen understanding of business needs at all levels of the organization.

CYNTHIA L. ESCARTIN

Cynthia has been a leader in helping organizations with start-ups, reviving underperforming teams, and sustaining overperforming teams in the areas of sales, training, and operations for 15 years in the higher education, lending, and IT Outsourcing industries. Cynthia has worked for University of Phoenix, an Apollo Group company, one of the nation’s largest privately accredited universities nearing $3B in revenue, where she was a pioneer in helping to establish and develop their then business development program for corporate, military and community college partnerships, now known as Workforce Solutions. While at DeVry University, Cynthia managed national teams that contributed nearly 40% to total lead goals, as well as year over year account growth by nearly 45%. Most recently, during her engagement at Trident University International, Cynthia was instrumental in demonstrating 400% year over year lead growth by establishing a CRM within a 3 month period. She was also key in managing a project where the first ever university online appointment system was established in a 4 month period, thereby giving the online university full credibility and functionality as an online school. She holds her graduate degree in business administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, and her undergraduate in business management from University of Phoenix. Cynthia is currently a member of the National Association of Women MBAs.

THOMAS G. KATSAHNIAS

Tom Katsahnias is a seasoned operations, sales, and solutions-driven executive, with experience in multiple industries, including Education, Retail, and the Government sectors. His key strengths are rooted in revitalizing under-performing departments; creating and implementing process and procedures; hiring an integrity-driven workforce; and cultivating a positive team culture. His operational background focuses on leading and building large teams of up to 500 people while also having ultimate profit and loss accountability, holding the distinction of doubling profits in his first year. As a Sales leader Tom has employed many of the same operational techniques to building and revitalizing his Sales departments and teams. Focusing on hiring the right talent, giving them the freedom to think creatively, holding them accountable, and implementing scalable processes and procedures that support the customer’s goals and objectives. This has allowed him to rapidly build and scale sales programs to allow the growth of the companies he has supported. Tom has had direct Profit and Loss responsibility for business units up to $100 (+) million with over 500 people. He has also built national geographically disbursed sales teams that have included direct reports up to Senior Director levels, support staff, marketing, and National/Local field sales. This experience is built upon a foundation of leadership honed as a US Army Logistics Officer who has lead troops in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is an expert strategist, being able to break down complex problems to their root cause and crafting the right solution(s) that will elicit success.
